Dr. Wiebke Szymczak

Wiebke Szymczak is a postdoctoral researcher in Sustainable Finance at the Chair of Management and Sustainability at the University of Hamburg. Her research focuses on various aspects of internal and external corporate governance in capital market-oriented firms. In particular, her work explores how capital markets and the real economy mutually influence each other, as well as the extent to which investment and financing decisions can affect environmental and social aspects of corporate conduct.
